Which replacement parts would you get from Nissan/part stores?

For the last year the majority of the parts I have ordered for my car have been from Courtesy and other local dealers. The only parts I have gotten for my car that didn't come from Nissan were the O2 sensor, oil/filter, brakes and struts. Aftermarket parts are usually cheaper than the ones at the dealer, but I have seen some crappy parts that I have been avoiding them like the motor/tranny mounts.

I wanna hear from you guys. When it comes to replacement parts (not upgrades) which parts do you usually go aftermarket and which ones would you strictly get from Nissan?

I'd like to see an answer to this as well, I've never gotten things from the dealer (stealerships) always gone with 3rd party parts, but I'm sure there are things that you just don't want to shortcut on.

i just get everything from Napa, and if i have the option of paying a few extra bucks for a Gates part i do. im not a fan personally about getting anything from the dealership at all. even my timing belt and stuff i go to a local guy to get it done

I am in the middle of pricing coils - so any input about OEM from a Nissan dealer - or reccomended (to use or avoid) brands is appreciated.

The information about coils I have found here is really scattered and inconsistent.

Some say to do the whole set, some say stick with Nissan parts, others say to source them from AutoZone, some say they got bad parts from AutoZone . . .

I am leaning towards getting a good price on a set of coils from an OEM supplier - maybe Hitachi.
