I know it sounds weird, but the best price I found was through Porterfield: http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/ They were the only ones that had the pads I wanted. Everybody else wasn't even close. They do honor maxima.org discount, so tell them you want that.
So a year later (I go through pads about once a year, 20-30k miles), I went back and asked for Porterfield pads. I still prefer the Hawks HP Plus (not the HPS).
TireRack used to have Hawks. They weren't the cheapest, but you get fast shipping and good customer service. That's worth the extra $1. You might wanna call Luke @ TireRack, tell him you're from maxima.org and he'll search their stock to see if they have any leftover for u.
And if price doesn't matter and u want the absolute best customer service where they treat you like their best friend, call up Stillen. Best buying experience you'll ever have. And at the moment, I'm blanking on who the rep is for maxima.org. Just mention maxima.org and they'll route you to the guy. Dang, I have his face in my mind and his distinct accent, but can't remember the name! My bad.
Good luck, report back what you ended up doing.

I buy my hawk pads from Performancepeddler.com. I usually call them and talk to them. If you do go through them, speak to Francisco and tell em Inder sent you and he'll hook u up. They usually won't charge you for shipping either.
