Help with 97 Max

Just bought a 97 5 speed maxima from a friend of mine...has 180K on it but is running great and has been well maintained since he bought it with 60K on it...this is going to be my daily driver and my new 370z will be the weekend car...i just need some advice on what i should have checked out and what services should have been done or need to be done....thanks again for all your help

EDIT:: you would get a lot more help there, not a lot of posts are made in general discussion

Look at the maint. records. That should tell you what may or may not be needed. Check the fluids, check the MPG - ENJOY!

1997 maxi 180k 5sp MT huh

ready, set, here we go......

replace ECTS, PCV, Spark PLugs, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, battery w/ a yellowtop duralast, starter, CPS, CKPS tranny side, brake pads and/or rotor, and KS. Recharge AC. CLean grounds on engine and near wipe fluid neck. Flush and replace tranny fluid and engine coolant. change oil. Clean TB, MAF, and IACV per how tos. Clean EGR if u feelin really ambitious. Clean entire UIM if u feelin super ambitious. Throw some chevron techron in the tank.

afterwards, ur max WILL be good.
