Overbore question

I plan to add a nitrous oxide set-up next January or so, but the car has 184,000+ miles on it. I'm considering a build-up to prepare for the juice, including an overbore, forged pistons and con rods, and other related goodies. Any comments/suggestions? Thanks as always.

Big-a$$ fuel pump, bigger injectors, new ECU programming and colder plugs.

You don't want it running lean.

The biggest problem is detonation (pre-ignition) which kills the pistons, rods and crank.

remember, the VQ is an open deck block, so overboring must be done very carefully.
