Hey, I heard that you got new lower spring perches from Ground Control so that you could lower it all the way down in the front. How much were they? Were they pretty easy to intsall?

They are raw metal rings that you can weld on to the strut body. You know when you want to lower it to the extreme. But the stock perch arch up, so it prevents you from going all the way down. The rings basically provide the collar to have a flat surface to seat on. One bad thing. You have to cut the stock perch off and spot weld the new one on.

They are not on the car yet. I just got all the parts. I need to find a place that's willing to cut and weld my stock struts. Too big of a job for my dremel =)

Actually, the GC's just showed up yesterday. And the kit is still the same, I'm going over there tomorrow to get the kit remeasured as well as the floormats, door sills, and gauge surround done. And I'm trying to get custom aluminum grills over the speakers, but I'll stick with finishing the kit first.
