I30 problem...PLEASE HELP!!!

I purchased my 1997 I30 in January. It is fully paid for. However, the problem I ran into was one of my corner lights was half full of water. Upon removing the piece, i find out that it was cracked on the back and somebody tried to cover it up with duct tape. On top of that, i find out that both of my fog lights are duct taped onto the car as well. What should I do? I have already called the dealership I purchased the car from, but is there anything else I can do? I am still waiting to hear from them...any help would be appreciated...thanks!

you can always go down to the dealer and *****.. see what they can do for you.. also take it to a body shop to see if any frame damage is done..

hmmm.... that sounds shady... if you do happen to find any major damage that was covered up, you may have some recourse. It will not be easy though.

I agree, have someone look at the frame, and body panels. It may have been crashed. Even so, the the dealer should help you out, not saying they will.

Undisclosed Damage

My guess is that unless you can prove the car was sold with undisclosed damage, you are out of luck. I believe you can check your VIN at some of the automotive websites, like Carpoint or Edmunds, to see if the car has been in a reported accident.

I've checked the VIN and it came out clean...i'm just wondering whether it's been in an accident without being reported...
