2002+ vs 2004-2008 Maxima?

I'm looking into getting an additional maxima and I obviously want a faster one that the one I have now with the new 3.5v6 in it. I found some stats on the 2002 maxima(the year they changed engines), but couldn't find any stats on the 2004-2009 maxima stats. Is that bodystyle as fast, slower or faster than the 2002-2003 maxima's? I'm talking abouit automatics only also. My wife can't drive stick, so I had to get all my cars in automatic

2002-2003 is faster because of less weight.

IMO - 5.5 gen (auto) is slower than 6th gen (auto 5 speed) but basically the same as 6th gen (auto 4 speed)

5.5 gen auto is faster than the 06-08's.. 09 is pretty quick for stock

my brother had a 2004 auto, i have a friend who has the cvt (07 i think) and my brother has rented the 09 cvt and that ran 14.3 at the track lmao

But "290 horses" + CVT tranny = less wheel horses than a 6 speed VQ35 anything...

hardly any A34's track their cars around here, very few. And 'faster' can mean a lot of things, an a lot of things come into play, 0-60/0-90/0-130/70-100/50-80,

Either way, speed should not dictate a decision. If that were the case, we'd all be rocking C6's or something similar.

And before this gets out of hand with a urinating contest ...
