Are you talking about the Sylvanias? Should have gotten the bluevision. You can deffinetly see an improvement.

i just put bluevisions on my max and you can see a difference in brightness. i notice the brightness more when i see light reflected off of objects like backs of other cars or walls, but i felt like the road only got a little brighter. they might increase distance visibility but i need to drive around more to find out...5 hour drive back home for christmas break, woo hoo!

Cool blues are the pepboys bulbs.
Bluevisions are the Kmart bulbs

The cool blues are barely different then stock. The bluevisions are a better bulb, and cheaper.

That's what you get for $14.99...

I had those Sylvania Cool Blues for my first upgrade. It was cheap, so why not? It does look kinda off white but in a cheap way.

Actually, this generalization is incorrect. Their stock wattage H3 bulbs for the foglights are the best around, albeit exensive.

Their 900x lights are atrocious for the money.

My sylvania cool blues are a huge improvement.

Nothing but compliments, and they give a much wider range of vision. And I've been running the same set about a year.

Cool blue are sold $16 a pair ($8.00 per bulb) in wal-mart. Cheap and looks good. Why do people keep complaining for this amount of price?

ok... after more indepth observation... I have come to the conclusion that the Cool Blue's are brighter than my stock bulbs (Sylvania Extravisions i think they were stock). However... if you're looking for color, these are not the ones get. Go get the ****ty gay HID-look bulbs... these are pretty white. I imagine this will benefit plastic lenses more than glass lenses, as they often tend to get faded. Not sure though...

...medic knows more than me.... explain the differences between the two.

I got some crappy bulbs for my headlights and they faded fast, they are whiter then stock, but they are not nearly as bright, they were also a lot whiter when i just put them in, but they freakin faded.

I'm going to save some $ and get upgraded harness and go with some Nokya high wattage bulbs.

Actually cool blues are sold at pepboys and are made by sylvania. You're thinking of the Philips blue visions, which are a better bulb and even cheaper than the cool blues.

Re: Re: YOu should have gotten these

The Philips Blue Vision 9004 model: lumens=700/1200 as well

http://www.autolamps-online.com/images/wpe36.gif

The numbers you quoted are for the H4 model

The Silverstars have a nicer color thou= 4000K
compared to the 3600K of the Blue Visions

Actually if you look at the link I posted the numbers were for the 9004, but I guess the info on that site is wrong?

Hmm maybe...I donno how that site got their numbers..they may or may not be right.. However if the Blue Vision 9004s are DOT approved and street legal, I dont think they can have lumens that high.

I'm color blind... but i can tell a difference... maybe more than normal people hehhe...

Anyway, just wanted to say that Philips Visionplus is same whiteness at Philips Bluevision, but much much briter, much further down the road... Get the VisionPlus!

That's it from the colorblind guy from Hawaii... my .02 cents...
