so my tie rod end pops off...

and i got stuck off the side of the road....so gay. I was parking and it felt if my brakes had locked up, i looked outside and one wheel was full lock to the right and the other wheel was full lock to left...i was like WOAH, super toe in..haha, but i saw the tie rod hanging there...anyways, i managed to get it back on the knuckle and drove home slowly. THe cotter pin and castle nut wasnt in, but ive never touched that side since owning the car....hummmmm

You should secure it with a rubber band. If you tie it just right, it'll snap right back into place everytime it pops out. Heheh, think of it as being double-jointed
