Sounds like you lost the alty output, but battery and brake light should be on???
Check the connections at the alty.
Have the alty tested at Autozone.

yea i lost the alt once and those lights would start coming on. thats why i have a feeling its the battery. besides i havent clamped it down so it mustve been going crazy with all the bumps i hit. it seems as if it lost its charging ability and the car is barely working off the alternator

I had similar issues with my 4yr old batt. a few months ago.

i KNEW it was on it's way out, and didn't want to "nurse" it thru another winter.

I went to Autozone and got their top of the line GOLD whatever batt. and called it a day. (highly rated batt., btw).

The battery continued to "test" okay, even after i yanked it from the car....but again -- I KNEW it didn't have much left in it.

Good insurance, and piece of mind.

Good luck with yours.

Check all your connections at the battery. Battery moving around can loosen connections. Check fuse for the alt charge wire.

Check the 140A fuse and the connections at the bat positive.

PROBLEM SOLVEDD PROBLEM SOLVED.!!
The connector at the alternator has 2 wires. one of them snapped (causing an open). maybe from the jerking of the engine? but it was the white/red wire which im guessing was sort of like a signal or something to the alternator. soon as i touched them together the voltage started rising back up. it was a pain to just pull the connector out. but from there on wasnt bad. connector was pretty easy to take apart
