Trunk problems

I have a 2k1 max and the trunk is creating scrape marks on my bumper. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a TSB for this?

Yep, there is a TSB and from what I recall people have been having mixed experiences with the results.

Technical Service Bulliten. Basically it's a notice of a problem that Nissan acknowledges but doesn't send out a recall for. Usually these problems, when pointed out are fixed N/C by your dealer.

Technical Service Bulletin - It defines a problem and describes how to fix it. Covered under warrenty as well

Its coverd under warrenty, you should go back to the dealership and tell them to take a look at the TSB's. when they fix it they are going to have to repaint the bumper and put some clips on that werent put on when they came out of the factory. goodluck

Here it is, courtesy of the fine people at the 5th Gen Forum

Be patient, it took a while for it to load. If I screwed up badly and this site doesn't work, the info is under the TSB thread in the 5th Gen Forum.

TSB meaning

In my experience....TSB = Service Bulletin sent to dealer from Nissan that the dealer will deny ever exists. When you tell them it exist for a particular problem, dealer will tell you it doesn't. When you show dealer a copy of the TSB they will act like it is the first time they have seen it. That's how it is around here!
