Brasso for headlights

I have a 2002 maxima, and my headlights are yellow and hazy and have some fine scratches and rock marks. I was wondering if i were to wet sand with 1500 then 2000 grit sand paper then apply the Brasso would that be ok. Then i would add a coat of wax at the end. Thanks.

If you're buffing by hand, try to find a higher grit. I'd wetsand, Brasso em (make sure not to get it on your paint), polish and wax. They should look good as new.

3M sells a kit that will make them look like new. Works great.
