Definitely a big investment and a difficult install on a DOHC V engine. Especially on the car since it's traverse mounted. It would totally set off that electric supercharger, though.

I got the video, but can't hear any sound with volume at 100%. Going to upload it to youtube anyway and see if maybe it's just my player because of the 3GP format.

edit: yeah was codecs. That's some nice lope for 264 cams! Will have it up on youtube in a few.

Don't feel bad, my cattman 3" is just as quiet... maybe moreso since I had the extra 14" resonator welded in place of the test pipe.

Thought so, my idle has never sounded that deep but it makes sense with the nonequal length Y-pipe. My car was quieter with the non equal length 3" Y-pipe that I had on for a while. The cattman Y with equal length runners does some neat things for sound, if you like the higher pitched noises.

 

in that video i sent you i was running a 2.25 test pipe. i switched over to a 3" test pipe and it gave it a deeper growl

 

haha mine even with full 3" out of the Y-pipe with 2 resonators sounds about as high pitched as any VQ I've heard. I'm kind of partial to it at this point, but I do like the sound out of the non equal length ones too. Hopefully the cams deepen it up a little.

I'm relatively certain you could make your car sound just like that by advancing the intake cam timing at idle with a Vmanage, increasing overlap.

 

might have 2 look into that

 

I'll certainly be playing with it when I have both the cams and Vmanage installed, lol. Retard it about 6 degrees (BC S2 have 6 degree overlap in stock position) to sound stock, and advance it for lope.

As long as you know what it takes to install cams on a DOHC V6, make sure you take plenty of videos for us.
