Best numbers were:
240.4 hp and 241.2 ft-lbs torque

Click here to see larger version

Her car was running VERY rich, as you can see in the air/fuel curve. An ideal number would be around 12, but it actually dips below the 10 mark a few times.

I'm confident that she should be in at least 250 hp range (probably higher) with a switch to the 6:1 Vortech FMU disc. We'll put in the 6:1 and run it again in February's NorCal dyno meet. Hopefully she can bust 250 and maybe hit 260.

Her stock boost dyno was 230 whp (don't recall the torque)... so the car definitely needs tuning.

Still impressive though. But her tq curve isn't as flat as yours Nonetheless, both her tq and hp are close, unlike yours hehe, I want pressure hopefully good things will happen with the Vortech FMU........

Impressive, but not impressive enough. Her torque curve would've been flatter with the 5th gen intake runners. We're shooting for 260 after leaning out the air/fuel... *fingers crossed*

Yes, they're at the wheels. Should be about 320 hp and 320 torque at the crank (25% loss).

Hm...numbers are not very impressive. More reason for me to go NOS. I really really want to know what Synki will pull when he dyno his car.

Kev, I know a way you can solve that torque problem of yours. A 40 shot of NOS should take care of that.

Very impressive. Keving, she has more torque then jOO!

Lean her car out and she shall have more HP. I just wonder who would have faster times.

Nope, now I understand why you kept saying your car didn't feel that fast. Don't worry, we'll lean it out and dyno again.

40 shot will kill my tranny.

That's only 60 horses less than my friends lightning and he weighs about 1600 more pounds than a Maxi. Do you know what Jane runs ? It seems she should be doin low 13's, and from those #'s able to take out his 2001 SVT F-150.

Hey, don't make fun of my torqueless Honda Maxima.

Yeah, we'll see what the new dyno would be with the 6:1. I believe I should be a bit faster because of the hp and flat torque curve.

Variable intake ownz jOO Stynki!

I highly doubt she's going to be in the low 13's... Remember the car is an auto. Fastest Supercharged auto known so far is probably the dude in Chicago, but I think he has more mods then Jane and he's running a best time of 13.5 Plus it's a male driver, we all know girls can't drive (FLAME ME NOW )

No, she can't do low 13's yet... probably high 13's.

Lightings have gobs of torque...

Janes car is probably low 14's to high 13's. No way she can be low 13's. (Sorry Kev & Jane )

SteveChicagoSC is a 13.5 and he has a butt-load of mods. Read his sig next time you can. Either Steve or i30krab are teh fastest S/Ced auto Maximas.

Not many Maximas (w/ exceptions) will keep up with Lightnings. I run 100 shot and i still get spanked by my cousins Lightning.

No need to be sorry, I totally agree with you. What did i30krab put down (after the tuning and mist thingy)?

Im not sure what he put down but Confused (Brett) might know. i30krab use to be a NE guy but moved to Vegas. I think his seetup was water cooled as well. He was at Level10 Tranny having a custom trans build. His trans shifts based on buttons. His pushes the button and it shifts to whatever gear he wants. I thoguht it was neat!

Maybe we can use teh search function for once to quench our knowledge on his car.

I only remeber him putting down about 230 with all the mods (minus 10 lbs, JWT tuned ECU, and Aquamist). His was car fairly heavy too.

Yep, they have a lot of torque.

Cant stop spinnign huh?

My cousins' stock 99 L dynoed over 350 & over 400lbs to teh rear wheels. Since then he added a chip, vb mod, & bigger TB and now pushed over 400rwhp and over 450lbs. Pretty crazy!

I did a post on this in teh OT forum awhile back. I know i cant check teh OT forum. hehe.

I think you may be right. Im not sure what he put down but i did remember him having a lot of mods though. If he puts down 230, looks like Jane will edge him out.

When I was complaining about my car wasn't fast enough, I had the 8:1 FMU disc in there. I bet if I put the 6:1 FMU disc back in, it should be much faster. However, I think I will run too lean if I do that.
