I was getting some 18 se-r forged wheels...from this guy on the org.. But the seller was straight jerking me off for 4 months of babysitting my money. Gave up on his shaninagans and said GOODBYE to that fool. BTW don't buy anything from jdm se-r he is a major d bag deuscher.

so 19' maxima wheels it is..maybe still will get se-rs..but thats only if I find them local or if someone has some that are reasonabley priced..and at a decent shipping rate. I am definetly leaning towards the maximas.

the premium 7th gen maxima wheels are NOT forged correct??

and se-r wheels are forged?? right?

okay thats what I thought thanks.

what are the perks to having a forged wheel as opposed to a regualr nissan wheel? I know that forged is better but is it really that much better?

okay guys I just picked up my 19s yesterday. I tried to put on one and test it but it rubbed immediatly when I tried turning the wheel. The tires are 245/40 on the wheel now.

Does anyone know what the next size down in tires that would fit the 19" premium max wheels? I know its a low pro but I need the tire details and specifications. ex: 235

In the procces of picking up my wheels I guess drunk/inhbited female side swipped my car and caused a enormous amount of damage to my car. While I was stopped at a red light...after she hit me... She continued into the gas station smahsed into another van..and then almost barley just missed crashing into the gas pump and hit the barrier just before the pump. Good thig I have full coverage but STILL. The ***** had no insurance..guess what color her skin is?!?! Ill give you a hint its the opposite of white. She was either drunk/high/ and or on pcp or something..Or a combination of both. Unbelievable I am at a loss for words... :-(

it really sucsk becauses me alti was a 1 owner no accidents car...and now I have a freakin accident..thanks alot hoe bag. Hope your still in jail.

Damn that suxs bro some POSs in a POS pick up truck side swyped my bumper the other day in front of my job while my car was parked and ran off and I only have liability insurance.

As for the tire go with either a 225/40 or 225/35, the second won't rub for sure but will be a bit low profile but its a common size for 19 inch rims so you can find some used still in good condition tires easily. Bith ways I'm 99.99% sure you won't rub. The only reason your rubbing right now is because the tire is too wide.

okay cool thanks for the info^ ya I am running 245/40 right now..way to BIG.

I also had someone suggest spacers..or 3mm spacers..what do you think?

really sorry to hear about the hit and run incident..I feel your pain.

one of my good friends just got shot with a ak47 and survived. He got shot 5 times..and the supects sped of in a hummer. One of the supects was apprehended. The other is still on the run I believe... Such a crazy cruel world...he is in critical condition but alive.

Personally I wouldn't bother running any spacers less then 10mm simply because its not worth the hassle of longer studs and without longer studs its risky to me. And usually I run ichiba v2 spacers since they are simply bolt-on and can be easily installed and uninstalled without all the hassle of punching out/in studs.

haha nahhh. Love my alti too much to go back to maxi. Unless it was a 2010 7th gen....or 02 6spd.

Whenever I get my estimate tomorrow or the next day..I am going to have the car fixed and insurance is covering all of it after a 500 detuctable. Its just unbelievable..the person that hit me has no insurance and I plan on suing them. They were intoxicated and arrested on the scene..not sure what she was abusing..but thank god I have full coverage.

Whenever the insurance company and collision repair is concluded I can FINALLY put my wheels on. Can't even put them on yet because the tires are too big. I need a smaller low pro tire like 235 or 225. I attempted to drive w/ one wheel on the front and immediatly I knew it was rubbing and my friend also could hear it standing outside of the car. So sometime in the next 2 weeks i should Finally get my g*d damn wheels on my car. F**K

Man that sucks but glad he pulled through the initial trauma. I wish him a speedy recovery. I couldn't imagine taking 5 rounds from an assault rifle and living. Your friend sure has some will power.

Spacers are much cheaper than a set of 19 inch tires. Unless money is not an issue or your wheels are already flush with the body, get spacers.

3900 dollars worth of damage. And I was on my way back from picking up my wheels 5 mins away from the interstate a drunk driver smashed into me. ..while I was stopped at a red light. Total damages and cost to repair is almost 4000k. thats just an estimate the car still needs to clear the mechanical code of health so it might be closer to 4-5k...when all said and done.

thanks again you drunk dumb f*ck. I am planning on sueing for pain and suffering and personal injury. Following up w/ prosecution in a month..because the dumb bit*h had no insurance.

Typically you'll want to change them around the same time you change your muffler bearings and blinker fluid.

If you clearly want to spend more money, buy a set of low profile tires and hopefully you stop rubbing.

Never said I was an "expert". Being another 3rd gen Altima owner and a technician, I figured I would help out and share what I know.

I have one guy who doesn't know what spacers do telling me i'm incorrect and the guy convincing him told him his wheel/tire combo would "be fine even with a drop". Nice.

You assured this guy twice before you even knew what size tires were on the wheels.
