Quick, dumb question

I bought my 09 7th gen for 28k after tax and other expenses. It was listed on autottrader at around 26,700. I've put less than 1,000 miles since I've had it, and I also repainted the bumper because it had scratches all over it. If i sold my maxima for 26k amd i were to buy a different car listed as around 22k-24k, would I still lose money?

Thanks.

you paid 28K for the car out the door... the listing price makes no difference here...

You spend $28K you sell the car for $26K You LOST $2,000
The price of the other car is irrelevant in this equation, simply b/c you lost $2,000 on your first car...

your initial investment was $28K.... you got back $26K and purchased another car for say $24K you are still loosing the $2000 from the sell of the first one...
just b/c you spend only $24K from the $26K you got back does not mean you broke even... no you are still loosing $2000 on the entire deal...
