Key Fob Battery
I have an Energizer battery in 97's key fob. I don't remember how old it is, but it's been in there for years. I really don't remember changing it, but I can't believe that it would be the original.
Yeah it does when I push the button on the remote. I'm talking about when it's in my pocket. Instead of pushing the button on the remote I just use the button on the handle.
The battery in the intellikey doesn't seem to last all that long. I think the longest i have gotten out of mine was like two years. These things are constantly transmitting a low RF signal.
The issue may not be the key fob. It may be the intelikey antenna. Does it only malfunction with the drivers door or the passenger door, ignition, and trunk?

I've only had it happen with the driver door. I'll have to have the dealer look at it to see if it's that though I didn't even think about that. Thanks for the info, great help!
