After second look at the coffee challenge done before, It does not look like that Dunkin Donuts was a drive thru style so I think we can continue with this challenge. If anyone disagrees, let me know.

Challenges seem different. New challenge focused on the drive thru rather than parked in front of. Approved.

Just have to again say, Dalastdon has continued to take some great images!

Yeah, that was my thought too after I could figure out what the specifics of the other coffee place challenge was.

That is not a whip antenna

Whip antennas are much longer than that, and they're used for c.b. radio's.

according to wikipedia, it is
A whip antenna is an antenna consisting of a single straight flexible wire or rod, often mounted above some type of conducting surface called a ground plane.[1] The bottom end of the whip is connected to the radio receiver or transmitter. They are designed to be flexible so that they won't break off, and the name is derived from their whip-like motion when disturbed ... ... ... and also attached to vehicles as the antennas for car radios and two way radios for police, fire and aircraft.
My wife's outback has one as well...that's what i took pics of

Hmmm...

Never heard of a car antenna being referred to as a whip antenna. Here we call the long c.b. radio antennas whip antennas since that's what they do when they're rolling down the road. A car antenna is rigid and doesn't "whip" in the air at highway speed.

I call this as an error on this Wikipedia entry. But whatever...

I never thought of the cb antenna but I have always heard of these type of car antennas referred to as whip antennas as well. If its not what Dalastdon wanted that's fine with me but I think he will be good with this

Yeah, the sun was kind of glaring on the 1st one so it didn't really show the antenna. And I had my 2 year old with me so I didn't want to leave him in the car by himself for long so I had to take the 2nd one from inside the car. Guess that was the type of antenna you were looking for then?

We just finally got rid of our snow so obviously no trees in bloom here yet. Guess I'm out due to weather and climate differences.

Yeah that's them. I think they are near impossible to find in the colder climates right now, especially one that is in bloom. This one looks limited to the people in warm climates.
