Install LED scanner to my dash
#1
All I want to do is add a LED scanner to my dash.
One from this site. The red lights with the
black on the 2 edges. Check it out.

I want to piggy back off the security LED already installed from Nissan.(reason for that is that I want the light to go on only when I arm my alarm) I pulled out the clock/security LED section on the top of the dash and saw only one plug which had a bunch of wires. I am assuming the LED scanner only comes with a positive and negative lead, so which wires will I need to piggy back off of on the existing plug? (which colors out of all the wires on the one plug). The 1 red LED that's in now is blinking so if I piggy back off that will my scanners rhythm be off because of the blinking (is it a constant flow of power going to the LED and something in the LED makes it blink?) What I'm getting at is I don't want the new LED scanner to blink, I only want it to scan back and forth along with the blinking of the original security lamp.
Thanks.
(Thanks to all people who help me rewire my markers.... Mingo, you were a real help)
I'm hoping to do this on Friday, November 10, so hopefully someone can get back to me soon.
