Need advice on cd changer

I would like to install a trunk-mounted cd changer onto my '99 i30t, but what would be the cheapest and easiest way to do so? I have the stock stereo system with the CDC button.

I'm aware the dealer has a 6 disc cd changer that is trunk-mounted and plugs directly into the back of the factory radio, but it sells for ~$250.

Is there a cheaper cd changer that I may use but is also completely compatible with the stock sound system?

Basically I just want a basic cd changer that is:
  • cheap
  • easy to install
  • controllable by the stock headunit on the '99 i30t
Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think $250 for a 6 disk is that expensive...it is a bit more then most, but I doubt you will find any "decent" changer for under $175...

Vinipux sells them for $185. Check it out!

I installed one a few weeks ago, and it works wonderfully. Plugs right into the back of the factory radio.

Install was a pain. This changer didn't line up with the holes in the trunk, but that was nothing that a drill and a little time couldn't fix. You'd also have to run the lines from the radio to the trunk, but you'd have to do that with any CD changer.

Yeah the one vinipux sells is basicly the same as the one nissan does but with a nice difference in price. Go through him. You wont get a better deal and it works perfect with your stock existing radio.
