Are Konig and Enkei wheels of good quality?

I'm undecided between the actual model, but are these brands good?

Here's the weights on each one (17") i'm being undecided on, is that good for a wheel at this price range? ($150 or so per wheel)

Konig Ziege 20.4
Konig Toxxin 19
Enkei RS6 20.0
Enkei RS5 18.0
Enkei RSF2 19.8

Thanks.

Konig Caffeines 17x8. Great wheel, got them at my local discount tire co. for $650. Only 19 lbs. too!

The caffeines are good quality, and i'm sure the other konig's are too. Enkei is good as well. Either way you'll be fine.

I was looking at the Konig Caffeines 17x8 before also. Do you have a pic of them on your car?

What you pay is reflective of what you get in quality. Not just weight but also fitment and finish. I do like the enkei ex series stuff all japanese built, but also big dollars. www.enkei.com

Thanks Craig, i'll check out those Caffeine's.

Did you have to replace your tires as well? I'm thinkig of still using the current tires i have now (OEM 17" Potenza's) since it still has a lot of tread left.

Well your OEM wheels are only 17x7 so the tire wouldn't fit. You could however make a pretty penny sellin' em.

SudZ, I had a pic but it was b4 the lowering and caliper painting, but I'll get some ASAP. I personally love the 5-spoked blade like look so that's why I choice em. Bueno espesically on a Black max. Until then I know black019 has a pic of em on his i30.

Oh yea Soundmike, the tires I bought were Nankang 225/45/17 H-Rated but have a 380 treadlife and A ratings. They are only $83 a peice and they are attractive tires with that shiny black reflective stuff too.

I checked out those Caffeine's, not my type but they do look sweet

I'm a sucker for rims that have center caps (e.g. Toxxin) and/or 6 or less spokes.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions!

Btw, anyone know how much the stock 17" weight? I wouldn't want to get an aftermarket rim that's just as heavy as the OEM.

That heavy huh? I wonder how much the wheel itself weighs.

I had Konigs on a previous car, and they were good wheels. Enkei makes Formula 1 wheels, so they should know a thing or two about quality. They have several wheels that I would buy.

I think the cheaper Enkei wheels are ugly

I really don't like any of those Shogun, Wugun or whatever. Their EX lines looks really nice.

Konig makes some nice looking wheels.

I think this one is pretty hot. Too bad it only comes in 17X7. The 18X7.5 would work.

This one comes in 17X8.

Enkei makes most OE rims for most doestic and foriegn cars. I had a set of SVO factory COBRA R wheels on my 97 COBRA; 17X9, they were made by ENKEI, very high quality!
I have a set of KONIG SUB ZEROs on the MAXIMA, same as ROTA Sub Zeros. The wheel is a 17X7.5 and only weighs 16lbs with tires; 235/45/17. I am within 1 lb of the stock 15" combo with the 17" combo. Those ROTAs and KONIGS run $130 ea.
The only thing is that the paint is brittle. I would for see having these rims powder coated in about a year.
www.whalentire.com
is where I ordered mine.

I have Konig Tantrums on my car and I feel these are exceptional for the price! I also have an Enkei's on my CBR. This is a production wheel for Honda but seems to be of good quality.

I dont have any of those (wish I did), but love the look of Toxxins and RSF2 over anything out there. BTW a guy @ whalentire.com told me Toxxins are no longer made and they don't stock these. discounttire.com has 'em, for $150-160 a piece.
