Just painted my rims in -1 degrees weather

I bought 2 bronze Drag rims to go drag racing. It was very hard to find some used 17X8 rims but I happen to drop in by my rim guy and he had 4 good ones but one was cracked and damged so I convinced him to sell me two

I started looking for steel rims but they were too expensive so I found these 18lb light weight rims. They looked good but seeing that my car was satin black and silver I decided to go with the satin black. It's below 0 degrees here but I was bored so I still painted it. Let me know what you all think of the black vs the bronze. All I need now is my 2 drag radials and i'm good to go.

They say you shouldn't paint in warm weather but I guess I proved them wrong...

below 0 degrees is warm weather to you? lol I'm sure you meant cold or at least I hope so. Honestly I wouldn't care what the weather was like as long as its not wet I'd paint them too. Will take a little longer to dry but oh well If your bored does it really matter to watch paint dry lol

If those are for the car in your sig I like the satin black better good job

Zero in Canada isn't the same as the Zero in the US. That's freezing temperature here. Ya'll use Fahrenheit and we use Celsius...

Compared to my 350Z rims it is. Besides for $110 that's light. Didn't have to pay and arm and a leg for it. The bronze did look good but I have a two tone car so I doubt it would of gone good with the concept. But thanks for the feedback

It came out better than I expected and it's can spray so when it chips os get scratched up I'll just scuff it down and re-paint it. Can't wait to start the poject.

Yet again I was bored and decided to repaint the rims. I went to the body shop and got the other two rims so that I can repaint it and sell them as a set. Was gonna repaint then with the satin black but decided to what what it would look like in some cheap flat black can spray that I had from walmart, turns out they looked pretty good so I painted both. Gonna go back and get two more cans and do the other two. Let me know what you all think

Believe or not the rims had curb rash so I use filler and filled the holes and sanded it then sprayed primer. Bet you all can't tell

I don't intend to use it because 17's on my lowered maxima is too low. I have a concave style that looks better and it's a 18X9 plus I got 3 other sets. My winter rims are 17's but the profile is pretty big. With the condition it's in right now I'm sure I'll get those honda guys to swoop it off my hands for about $800 with some good used tires mounted. I like how it turn out so much that I'm thinking of painting my Phat *** rims. I'm debating because it's a silver almost brand new with no curb rash on it so if I did paint it I'll have to keep it or loose big time when or if I ever decide to sell them.

You'd need a few things well. But if you have basic knowledge about sanding and preperation shoot me a PM and I'll walk you throught it. Pretty easy, just a lil time and patience is needed

Just mounted them up with some Kumho 245/40R18 tires and I'm hoping I get atleast $700 because there's no curb rash, they are light and the tires are almost new with no camber wear.
