its not cool to be high

now that i have raised my coilovers back up and driven for a couple days I miss how my car looked and drove. It makes me wonder how I lasted one year on a stock suspension. Can anybody make the winter go away so that I can lower again.

can't u just lower little bit, instead of slamming it back down? it'd look better than stock...

I am lowered some still, I can't go all the way up to stock because I have the back coils as high as they go and the front are only 2/3 up. If i'm going to suffer I may as well do it right. Without the front lip I would be able to stay low.

Take the lip off for the winter. Win/Win! The lip stays in good shape, and you can lower the car back down.

that's not a bad idea. I can always cover the holes with duct tape or something.. I'll have to think about that some.

Hell, do you still have that roll of black duct tape? I don't even think that you'd have to cover the holes.

I have....my 97 Max with Sprints acts like a damn plow. Couldn't imagine it with a lip on the front.

no new pics of my ride since I raised it back up. It's close to stock height but just a little lower in the front and level in the back (stock back is .5" higher)

How would one take it off if it's riveted on there? My side skirts are riveted on and I'd like a way to take the whole thing off, fill in the rivets with something, paint over the filled wholes, and put it back on.. Any idea's on how to do this? I HATE how you can see the rivets when the doors are closed.

You could drill them out.
