how to paint chrome trim

how to paint chrome trim

has anybody painted their chrome trims, what kind of paint can be use to paint them. i tried a can of high heat engine paint with ceramic from wal-mart and they peel right off.

if your gonna paint anything you need to prep the surface, sand it good and use primer.......

I havent done this but if you go to pep boys they have special primer/paint that sticks to chrome and whatnot. Use that and afterwards use special paint they have for door trim.

there was a post by ME, where I asked this in the 4th generation forum a while ago.. "KCTYPHOON" has done this and replied with good details and exact materials used. His looks perfect and has held up well for a long time now. Go check that..
