which subs should i get?

i figure i would post this here in a more active forum (audio section is kinda dead) and i wanted opinions from anyone. heres what im looking at getting (one of these)

(kicker cvrs) http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAIR-KICKER-...ht_4067wt_1265
(l5) http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Kicker-sub...#ht_500wt_1282
(l7) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kicker-S10L7...#ht_500wt_1282
(lanzar) http://www.ebay.com/itm/LANZAR-CAR-O...ht_1734wt_1265
(p.a ****) http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-POWER-AC...ht_3223wt_1265

as well as which amp i should get. if a mod would rather this be in the audio section vs the general discussion feel free to move it.
thanks

don't get 2 subs stick with one good one and focus on getting a good amp, no need for the extra weight of another dub. I own a 12'' Alpine Type R in the original enclosure with matching mono block amp and the bass is loud and sometimes is even too much not to mention the thing weighs a ton in my trunk so i can just imagine 2 of them.

The quality of sound has nothing to do with the size, maybe its just a crappy sub. One thing is for sure if that 15 is a quality 15 it'll sound MUCH better than 2 10's and take up half the space or less.

depends what your going for, buddy of mine just hit 149.9 dbs with 2 10inch kickers, theres no way in hell he could do it with just one...and yes one good one is enough for most people but not everyone...i for instance want two good ones, cause 2 is better than one most of the time

the surface area of one 15inch sub is 176.714587 inches squared
where as the surface area of two 10inch subs are 157.079633 inches squared usually more surface area = more noise not always quality (and believe me quality is far more important than how loud it is)

now the surface area of two 12s are 226.194671 inches squared, but ive noticed tens are better for rock and fast bass where as twelves and fifteens are better for slower smoother bass, depends on what you listen to as in rap

i have 1 12inch rockford fosgate with a p200-2 on mine and it hits hard enough. one other thing you should maybe think about is stuffing your box before you put the sub in.

if its in the trunk than a vented box will hit better

naw it all comes out real easy and i dont think my spare is even worth it lol i am thinking about getting the spot cut out and a new piece of of metal put down that way i can put my tools under it instead of having them out for more of a cleaner look but im not really sure yet

? You can have 10 15" subs from different manufacturers and you would need completely different boxes. Same with tens and 12s. You can have all kinds of setups. Cant say one is better unless you have actual subs that you are comparing. even the same sub from different years will be different. Do your research OP and gl!

are you adding to mine or trying to argue with me cause if your arguing than please point out where any of that is relavent to what i had said and if your adding to it, than i agree. each manufacturer has a different setup/design for there sub and each year they approve upon it so of course its going to be different, but either way all i did was give him the actual numbers for surface area, and more surface area usually means louder/more sound because they have the ability to move more air, but you also need to consider the travel of the sub, if it travels alot but has a smaller surface area its going to make the same amount of air movement as a larger sub that has less travel

edit: i think i see where you are confused...im not talking about the size of the box, merly the surface area of the sub face it self
