Cold Starting problem solved!!!
Cold Starting problem solved!!!
I installed my new starter last night. Let me tell you i think at the factory they tack weld a bolt on(lol) cause it took my brother, me and a 3ft long 2" wide steel pipe to get the damn 17mm bolt free on the side of the starter! Once that snapped off(not literally), the rest of the install too me about 30min(more time re-installing my CAI then the starter itself. In the process i accidentially pulled a wire out of the temp sensor thats on the back of my CAI tube. Guess thats $50 from the junk yard :/ anyways....
So after getting my $70 core deposit back and letting the car get really really cold over night i went outside and turned her over. Worked like a charm
not one noise or hesitation on start-up.
It only took me a year to get my a$$ to buy the damn thing. I also did what DRVLKEuSTOLEiT said and turned the igntion on for about 2-5 sec, then started up my car and vrooom perfect start!
Now onto my next problem, KNOCK sensor
lata,
Anthony
