I like the way they look, but I don't know much about them.
I want to know what kind of buildability do they have? I bought my I30 thinking that it was close enough to a maxima that it would be easy to mod. Well it's a nightmare to mod, everything thats on my I30 I was told wouldn't work on it(but works great).
I know they are RWD, but do some models have lsd? is there an engine code I need to look for? is one gen better than another? is it going to be a million dollar deal to mod the 240? Whats the differnce between the SE/LE/SX models. Can I turbo? or should I supercharge... I just want to get into an easily modible car.

you want an easily cheap modible car buy a civic, lol J/K please don't buy one, integra's with a turbo are sweet, what year is your i30, maybe you can get a 97+maxima?? and mod it i dunno your budget so i can't be sure on which car would be a good deal.
ex.
300zx
rx-7
mustang gt
maxima

I have a 97,
I have a fair amount of mods done to it. I have a modest 5k in mine this year alone, and haven't done anything to the stereo yet.
But the market isn't there for Maximas. I don't want a honda(I've owned an Acura), I like the way 240's look, 300's are to fragile. So I just want to get this, I just need to make sure I get the right one. I would've never had bought an SE Maxima(hypothetically speaking) if I could get a GXE with a spoiler for less. Because after you put springs and shocks on it it's all the same car again, the trim line is obsolete. See my point? I don't want to make a costly mistake if I'm going to buy another car.

when your making a lot of power on a small motor your bound to run into problems, why get a different used car that could potentially have problems when the current one you have is running good and you've spent so much time and money into it. I'm hopefully keeping my 97 forever as the dailydriver/grocery getting murderer and saving up for a wrx or used S4 when i get out of college.
