Venom 400 Control Module

I have been looking at the venom 400 control module for my 95 5spd maxima. Can you guys tell me anything about it. Percentage horsepower gains. Negative engine effects. Thanks

Re: Re: Venom 400 Control Module

I just read that. It sounds pretty interesting. Unfortunatly I am one of those people that has to try something. I have heard both sides for this thing, so I guess I will just have to try my luck of the draw. When and If I get one I will put up a review on it. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like it's probably a waste of money, but if you do get it before and after dynos are great. I have heard the same thing yo_its_ok said, it makes the ECU think your throttle is pushed down further then it is. It would feel like you had a lot more power until you pushed the peddle all the way to the floor and it was the same as 3/4 throtle.

Why would it be like 3/4 throttle when it is floored?

When you are at 1/2 throttle venom tells ECU you are at 3/4, when you are at 3/4 venom tells ECU you are at full throttle, after 3/4 throttle there is nothing left. This tricks you into thinking the Venom has added power. This is only what I heard about the venom, and I pulled the numbers out of thin air to give an example. If you do get the Venom it is something to look out for.

Thanks for the info, I will check into it some more. I think one of my friends is going to get one for his sunfire. I will see how his works out.

Turbo Quad 4? Andyway I will just let him get that, and then see how it works out. That way I can tell if it worth the money. If not, no big deal, I will go without modding my car at all.
