I would of removed the rear bumper but it's too much work to get too so I left it. Really didn't make a difference because I ran a 14.2 on a hot day.

So for all the guys who hate my car for it being unique. I use my car for shows, drag racing, 85km daily to and from work and in the winter and with all that she still runs pretty quick with just 3 bolt on mods.

This is the proof...

There's no need for me to lie. CAI, altima headers/exhaust and lightweight crank pulley. I wouldn't say tires is a bolt on because it's not performance mods

Tires are arguable. What I was getting at were the spacers and BOP.

The spacers was taken off because my mechanic theory for my misfiring was due to the spacer, turns out it wasn't the spacers. Since I messed up my engine and swapped it I've had codes appearing daily and my mechanic seem to blame them on all the mods I installed, the kicker is they was there before the swap . The car currently have 9 troubled codes.

I don't think a BOP can give you any noticable gains without the spacers so to me it's just a plate. It's questionable that the car is running 14.2 but I ran that the first day I hit the track with all the bolt ons. The only thing different this time was the rear bumper, no spacers, the rims and slicks. I'm still running 89octane because the 94 showed no gains.

I'm still new to the drag racing. This is probably my 7th time at the track so I still have a lot to go. Getting better reaction time, 60' and trap time takes time and you gotta pray the the weather Gods you get a good track day.

Everyone says I have bad times but no one says how to accomplish it. So i'm bacially learning as I go. Aaron from NWP has been coaching me. He's a wizard when I comes to the racing

Why remove the bumper cover and put the stock one back on?

I heard bodykits causes drag and the stock kit is lighter. The bodykit is also a bit of hassle to change rims at the track and I didn't want to risk damaging it racing

Drag would be minimal at best, but that wouldn't even come into play in the 1/4 mile anyways. How much lighter is the stock bumper cover vs the one you have? Maybe a couple pounds? That won't do anything, honestly. Removing spare and jack won't, either. I'd just remove anything loose from inside the car and clean the trunk out. The only time you see measureable difference in your speed with weight reduction is if you do things like removing the rear seat, and many other easily removeable things like that. I've seen guys remove sway bars to reduce weight. Adjusting tire pressures and working on your reaction time will probably give you more benefits. I can understand if changing wheels is a bit of a hassle, but isn't changing bumper covers even more so? And the only way you're going to risk damaging it is if you crash.

Nice times....I would remove the passenger seat and the rear seats also, sure that will save on some pounds like T-Behr said....

The front bumper is held up for 2 plastic clips and 2 nut and bolts, way easier than the rear. The rear on the other hand has about 8 sets of clips and nut and bolt then there's the tail lights to remove. It's not like I went out and bought the bumper I simply swapped it to lighten as much as possible. I took out anything I didn't need but seeing that I have the elite package the rear seats isn't as easy as it sounds, to back it my friend from the nissan told me if I remove the seats it will set off the airbags icon and i'll have to take it to the dealership and pay to have it cleared. That's just too much work and stress.

I mean having 9 troubled codes, lambo door hinges, and just 3 bolt on is pretty good on a summer day. Because the drive is about 2hrs depending on traffic and flying stones along with bugs and debris taking it off was the smart thing to do. I would love to strip out the car and run it except it's not a race car and putting it back together by myself will take days and it will only shave off a few tenths of a seconds.
