Car situation update

Well it looks like I maybe stuck with the maxima for a while. Doing some calculations and hard thinking, I simply do not want to be putting down the money to purchase a new/used vehicle that will be to my tasting in the high teens/low 20's (96 corvette, 98+ F body, 96ish M3 or 328i, etc). Partly no thanks to the miserable nissan resale value, I doubt I'd get more then $10,000 out of the car. Being a poor college student who only works part time who bought a motorcycle back in april doesnt help either.

Also i'm going to get my transmission parts cryo treated once again. I first thought it would cost $280 to do, but I found a shop locally that does the cryo treatment for only $50 for the two assembled shafts. They are also about 3 miles from my house too, so shipping is not even a factor.

So for the time being, I'm pulling all the offeres I had for sale of parts except for the polyurethane motor mounts. I had to many people back out anyway, so next time I'm selling something it is going to ebay.

Anyway, I've been so lazy that i still havent touched the maxima to fix it to get it back on the road, and I've been continuing to enjoy the refinedness of my moms toyota camry.

don't keep the maxima.. its better to bite cost and get something reliable than to keep a car thats always going to cost you to fix every 5 secs because it keeps breaking

The only major problem I have had with this car has been the transmission. And yes that is a major problem. Even still hopefully after I cryo treat the guts, it will not blow up on me like it did before.

But believe me I'd love to get out of this car. Excluding the transmission I never said it was unreliable, I just dont like the way it is built.
