My results

I've used my Gtech quite a bit with fantastic results...I've consistently run 15.2 quarter mile times with the G-tech and 15.3 at the track with the same minimal mods. I haven't used any other options on the Gtech besides zero to sixty and quarter mile.

I borrowed a friends with great success. I beleive that the accuracy on 0-60 and the 1/4 mile time is +/- 0.1 seconds, not bad... Also remember that the speed in the 1/4 is always higher on the G-tech than at the track. This is due to the fact that the G-tech gives you maximum velocity while at the track you get an average of the last 60'. I haven't tried, but believe that the G force and 60-0 readings are very accurate as well

You will find that>>

the G-tech will be very acurate, if you can get it to stay on the window. And to get the full use out of it you need to have your EXACT wieght of the vehicle WITH YOU IN IT. Just read the insructions that come with it, and understand how to use it and it should work out real good for you.

Ran mine, timed with the clock at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

my times were all within .05 to .1 seconds from the clock, buy my mph were always 4 miles an hour faster? I don't know if the horsepower figures it gives you at the wheels is accurate though. I have tried many times with the runs, but get large varying numbers.

G-Tech

The G-tech is very accurate, but it all depends on the kind of road you use it, weather, etc... I took my car to Englishtown Raceway track, and I G-tech my car while running the 1/4. It was off by .10 on the 1/4-mile and the speed was off by about 2 mph.

But the best way to know if you improved you 1/4-mile is find a spot and keep using that spot. Do your mods and see if there's improvement. The mod that gave me the most improvement was changing it to a 5-spd, gave me about .6 gain on the 1/4 mile.

It's very accurate, but the accuracy is ->

highly dependent on how it's mounted and the road slope. The meter needs to be perfectly level, reading 0.00 G's with the car stationary. The road needs to be flat so that no elevation-based G's are measured. The meter also needs to point straight ahead...can't be pointed left or right.

Ensuring the above will result in the advertised +/- ~0.1 sec accuracy.

great tool

It was .1 to .4 off at the dragstrip. It calculates MPH different than the track and gtech states there MPH is more accurate than the track.
