i use PIAA Super Plasma Bulbs, they are the japanese version with a rainbow coating over the bulbs, they are extremely bright and would match hids well. They are like $55-70 on ebay.

i dont like kicker subs, especially the way they look... never been a fan.. i have a friend with a 1500w kicker amps pushing 3 of those square subs and my setup now is louder..

i'm trying to setup a webpage right now for my car club with tons of airbag pics, catch me on instant messanger or email and i'll hook you up. SSJZTien on AIM and SSJZTien@aol.com for e-mail..

when the car is slammed the front end is about 3-3.5 inches off the ground and the exhaust is about 2-3 inches off the ground.

i had the trunk all done professionally.. unfortunately i didn't have any time on my hands or i would have attempted it all myself. i drew out the entire setup including all dimensions and what not so i could have done it, i just didnt have the time.

just for referance, the speaker doesnt do nearly as much as the enclosure that its in. i have a single rockford HE that pounds harder with 200 watts then most subs ive heard. i spent 12 hours building and tuning the box for it, in the mail i have two adire tempest 15"s im going with a double laminate MDF sealed enclosure at about 3.5 cub's per sub. check out http://www.adireaudio.com they have some sick shiznit

sprint dont you have JL's?

jim- will do.. cant wait to have another meet or two.. we should setup a weekly hangout or something..

maxse98- of course your custom made box for that sub will sound loud.. do you have leather seats? i loose a lot of sound because of that.. but any custom fit box to subs will be louder, i have a simple sealed box behind all that nonsense.. when it comes down to it i wanted looks more than sound.. but, thanks for the site and the info.. eventually i'll go all sound..

i have cloth, yer butt sticks better in those corners, mine is loud but its also really clean and very punchy. its nice to have a hard punch and bass down to 30 htz, those adires are only 130 a speaker i think, they move more air than some speakers 8 times their price which is why i picked them. ill have one 15 in my car in a hand made box and one in my room to be paired with my 900 watt jbl's for home audio. should be fun

Yup.. I love those amps.. I've had I dunno how many people offer to pay new retail price for 'em, but no way I'm selling! (in fact, I bought two more since that system).

just wait till I get done with the next one..
