Hey guys, anyone know if these 17" wheels will fit and work on an '04 Quest? I'm looking to change over for a better selection of tires.

should work fine, yes. But not pretty

Original tire size on the quest was
P225/65R16 99H (s model quest)
P225/60R17 98H (se model quest)
P225/65R16 99H (sl model quest)

225-50-17 or thereabouts is the typical specs for the 5.5gen SE wheels...which are thinner sidewall

If I were to do max wheels on a quest, I'd do 18's.



have you looked at pathfinder / xterra / Murano wheels instead?

 

Thanks for the quick reply. To be honest, I dont care about looks at the moment. I am tired of the Quest having a terrible choice of expensive tires that just suck. The damn thing is dangerous in the snow on brand new tires vs my Max. I can get A grade SE wheels for $65 each from my local junkyard and fit a set of Continental Extreme DWS - exactly as I have on the Max and hopefully the Quest will be driveable in more than a couple of inches of snow.

 

gotcha. DWS is a damned good tire...I've got 'em as well.

 

In for pics, if you do it, what kind of tires you have on the van for the snow ....

Are the tps sensors removable from the Quest wheels so I can put them on the Maxima wheels?
