FYI: Momo shift knobs & boots
The two ***** I priced were $55 US & the boot was $35 ... I think that's the cheapest around so far ... it's http://www.contemporarymotorsport.com ... they're in Alberta, Canada ... tell em you're from the Maxima site
Can n e 1 with a Momo shifter post pix ...
I'm still not sure which 2 get ... I went in2 Performance Improvements today & I saw the combat ... not sure that I want it anymore ... also saw the Cobra ... looks small ... n e 1 have these on their car?
I have a Momo Comabat **** ,
it's the silver and leather one,I think it feels wonderful, its a pleasure to use very well degigned for the hand, and It is the best looking **** I have ever found.
Keep in mind...
if you are into the REAL carbon fiber look, none of these ***** offer it. They are all made with imitation CF, not that there is anything wrong with that, but the real material does look better, IMHO anyway.
Re: Confused ...
**** is easy... I suggest a strap wrench to remove your old one (about $20). Momo **** uses hex screws to attach to the shifter
Boot is easy too.. remove the wire from your old boot and use that to attach to the console.. it takes a little time to line it up and adjust it until you like the look. Boot should screw into the **** so it doesn't look like your socks when the elastic snaps.
