thanks for help guys i finnally buy it to rockauto.com for me in canada the total cost is 43$ CAN ... the fuel filter itself was 17$. its only the shipping, its sucks and blackthorndemon: i dont see the fuel filter on the autozone website... and here in my city dont got a autozone store.

my Max got 173500 miles and im the second owner of this car ... the other was a girl so i think its has been never changed haha , anyway nissan dealer say that its a ''lifetime filter'' loll so why the air filter is not ''lifetime'' haha everything have a limits
so i think the filter will be dirty... a lot haha

and i hope to have the O-ring too with i bought a berk arkley filter but i dont know if its included? you guys know?

it is basically the same and more alike than different...Looking back on it they save $$$ doing the FF that way.

it is basically the same...
that's like saying the 6th and 7th gen maximas should have interchangeable doors since it's basically the same car...

My point is it's not the same engine. Your point is that it's "close enough"...well sorry bud, but there's obviously SOME reason that Nissan changed the fuel filter from the 4th to 5th gens...if I had to guess, it was because of a lower cost and the ABS system interfered too much (fuel filter on 4th gens with ABS is a biitch and a half to do apparently, from reading the forums).

Return vs returnless fuel systems , that's the entire reason for the FF change.

I bet the change was for manufacturing efficiency. One install process for fuel pump, float assembly and fuel filter vs 3 install processes, one for each of the separate items.

i open up the old filter with my grinder hehe and wanted to show you a 173 500miles ''NISSAN LIFETIME FILTER'' looks like
