GeniusVin.com FREE

I was over on the 370Z forums and I ran across this (URL REMOVED), it is actually decently accurate. If you want to see your cars history or see about previous cars its cool and its FREE. I looked up all of my previous cars and was shocked to see that my old '89 is still on the road and was reported at 311,000 in January.

My max has had 13 owners in the last 18 years, and been in 1 wreck. It was also originally sold in nj.

Checked mine. All good with no surprises. Pretty much same as carfax but a bit more detail.

Did anybody read the TOS? Interesting that anyone that works for Experian or AutoCheck, or any of their family members, are not supposed to use the web site. Or anyone that works at an auto dealer running VIN checks using AutoCheck.

I found this on the AcuraZine forums and checked a bunch of my friends' cars and they said it was pretty much correct. Never thought to do it on my own and found out it was in an accident, which wasn't something on the CarFax. Doesn't seem like it was serious though. Everything else seems fine.

It said my 1995 is a 2002 model. All my other cars were accurate though.

FYI the URL now goes to a RickRoll on Youtube.

Guessing the domain owner got some pressure from somewhere about offering the VIN checks.
