Remember the Maxima Meet in Dallas in 2000? > pics

Digging around last night and found these photos of the Dallas meet we had in December of 2000. It was like 25 degrees that day, sun was shining.

It was a good meet, lots of people. We have people from Houston, Austin, Dallas (of course), San Antonio, even a few from Oklahoma. I remember Warp Speed showing up to do some comparisons of the Y-pipes, and were out in the cold all day, and never got one on (correct me if I'm wrong) Andi showed, and threw his car around a few times as well.

What new car? I still have the same ole car

No new updates, but the motor should be complete and ready to install in about 45 days or so (hopefully). I want to run some N/A dyno bases for a while to see where we made the power, and then we'll shoot for some BIG hp.

Talk about a BBBIIIGGGGGG Power adder:

Holeeee Bajeeezuz! Make that turbo any bigger and you'll have a Boeing 747 jet engine! Sheesh! What kind of hp are you lookin at? 1000 at the wheels?

Your seatblets must also have some kinda head strap, cause when that bad boy spools up, necks will surely snap!

Don, may I say you got a lovely picture of the back of my head.

It was freezing and windy that day.... you either had to stand in that garage and inhale exhaust fumes or stand out in the wind.

hey deanne, don't gripe too much about freezing.. If I remember right, that's my jacket you're wearing in that pic..

And Don, I got my y pipe installed in about 20 minutes. only problem was the shop welded on a nut with the wrong thread for the O2 sensor, so I had to just screw it in as best I could for the dyno runs.

Yep, it was freezin A$$ outside.

I helped someone install a RSB, and "someone" thought his RSB was stolen......hehe

Russ helped everyone that wanted help. It took me about an hour to install that bra on my car, it was so cold, it wouldn't stretch.

Dallas meet

I remember the day, colder there than in Minnesota!!!. My hands are still cold. Damn. Made plenty of new friends that day. Too bad about that batch of pipes. Dallas and I learned a valuable lesson, double, triple check everything. We hope to make 3-4 of the major meets this year. We want to show every one the SFCs. We have several more Maxima projects on the drawing board, coming down the pipe.

Dan, I'll be showing off the SFCs and B-pipe next weekend in Dallas for ya.

Don, I remember the bra episode.. you and russ finally put the thing in the sun at the Holiday Inn lot and let it warm up.. then it cooled off and shrunk again before you got it on his car.. Kaleb, Erick (the one with the Z) and I were laughing our a$$es off watching you guys!

btw, here's a few more misc pics of the weekend.. nothing too special.
