Has anyone ever used the film tint? I am just curious how it turned out and how it lasts.

I've never used it personally, but if you were going to get it done though I'd recommend going to a shop that specializes in it and is run by people that do it professionally. Just some words of advice, I don't know what the laws in your state are with tinted tail lights, but you can almost guarantee a ticket from tinted tail lights... They do look good though!

 

One of my coworkers used the Plasti-Dip smoke on his and it looks really good... And if you should happen to get stopped by a LEO, you can simply peel it off standing there and probably get out of the ticket.
Then go home and spray it again...

 

I've had the tails on my GP tinted dark for many years via Niteshades (PITA). Never have a problem.
