Want to chrome out your engine on your 98?? READ

Here is the deal, i have talked to the guy that did "CARIZMAX's" engine bay (pictures are posted in a thread on general forum) and he said he would be willing to do the polishing of the intake manifold, valve cover, and strut bar (stillen or other) for $250.

I am in jacksonville and want to get this done, but there is no way for me to have a 2-day downtime because I have no where to stay in orlando. Would anyone be able to let me use their manifold and valve so that I could drop them off and once he gets done polishing he would take mine off and polish those for the other person.

I am very serious, $250 is insanely cheap to have your engine shine soooo nicely, but I need someone who is willing to get this done on their car and have a couple days downtime.

Thanks Org,

Jason Sadler

Go to a junkyard and pick up extra parts...then swap it out for yours...swap that out and so on. I would pay $350 for everything, you could make $100 or more a person.

Make sure it's a 1998 intake manifold

because 98 upper intake manifold is different from other 4th gen. Basically...1995, 1996 and 1997 are pretty much the same. 1998 is different and then 1999 is different again. Anyway, if you don't find anybody let me know. I do have a 1998 intake manifold that I cleaned and got rid all those carbon build up inside. I don't have any valve cover sitting around.

even so.. 100$ for shipping total, you are still paying 350, which is still cheaper than anywhere else.

98 has an extra vacuum line by the throttle body. There are minor differences, but it just make things much easier if you have the same year.
