install mods themsleves? I install all of my mods, in fact, right now my Max is in my garage about 3 ft off the ground, with no tranny in it while I wait for Clutchmasters to send me my new clutch. Sucks. But, while I've got it apart, I think I'm gonna install new struts since mine are shot now. I'm thinking Koni adjustable's?

I also try and do all my own mods

This depends on a couple of things normally if specialty tolls are required I leave it to my regular mechanic(not the dealer0. Other than that I do all my own mods.

So far I have done everything myself. The more I work on the car, the more I love it, like bonding. Plus it saves all kinds of money. And hey, if I have to buy more tools, all the better. The tool store might as well be Toys R Us as far as I'm concerned.

If I want to install something, I do it for the fun. Guess that's more like my hobby than to save $$. Come on, how much can you save when you worth more doing something else?

IMO doing the mod by yourself gives you the pride of ownership. The same way you spent hours on a model car kit when you were a kit.

I wonder when I will have the $$ to build my own plane. Definitely not in my backyard.

May be a kit car first.

So far I only have one mod (Popcharger, installed yesterday ) but I installed it myself. I intend to install every mod by myself....why the heck should I pay a grease monkey $50/hour to do all the fun stuff?

Myself

Me,myself, and I. Unless it's "serious" enough to take it to a shop or dealer or shadetree mechanic. My 15 year old neighbor sees me in my backyard under my carport a 10:00 at night and says man What are you doing now? My wife says the same thing HEHE!! I'm known at work as the "fabricater" ot "Maxima Man" or what have you done to it now or what is next and I always say that I'm finished for now HEHEHE. We are never "finished" Right. UHHUH!! More $$$$$ More MODS YEAH MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far I have installed my intake, y-pipe, exhaust, front/rear rotors and pads, clear corners, F/RSTB. Everything is working the way that they should be working. I also have access to a mechanic shop cause my friend owns one so I go there if i need a lift or any tools I dont have.
