Cluster swap

I have a 2000 nissan maxima and in the cluster millage display don't work. I was wondering if I install a new cluster is it going to show the correct millage in the car or the millage from the new cluster?

It's going to show the mileage in the new cluster.

BTW, it's mileage, not millage. LOL

There is also mileage stored in the ECU so you would need to take the new cluster to a Nissan dealer for programming to get the correct mileage on the cluster.
