Floor Mats...

Is the Maximas floor pan that different from 1995-1999
to
2000-2002

will these floor mats from 95-99 fit in 00-02
and vice versa?

yes they will, i don't know about 2k2. the 5th rear are a little less long than the 4th gen, but that's the part that's underneath the driver and passenger seat anyway. I think there the slightest bit wider in the rear too, nothing noticeable, it's just very well fitting if you're going 5th mats on a 4th.

The mats are different. With the diamond plate mats we sell, the 5th gen are very different from the 4th. The drivers side is pretty close, but the passenger side is quite a bit different. However, if you're just swapping 4th gen factory mats to the 5th gen, or vice versa, it's fine because those floor mats will conform to the differences.

That's what i meant by very well fitting. They do need to conform. Oh, BTW don't get the black 5th gen mats, they're lighter gray than the charcoal 4th gen. Found this out the hard way, had to get a refund from the dealer, but they said it was ok since they'd prob sell it soon anyway. I don't know why they labeled them as "black" though, i guess it's just designating which interior it goes with. Oh well, later.
