Detroit Auto Show pics -- G35, 350Z, VQ35DE

I've put all my decent pictures up. I wish I had gotten a better variety, but I was there with my father-in-law so I felt kind of pressured to keep moving along and didn't get to do things in an orderly fashion. I didn't even get pics of the GT40, RX-8 and new Mazda 6 models, EVO VIII or the Mini's. But I had fun anyway!

My 2002 NAIAS Pics

After seeing all the cars there, my short list to replace the Alty is:

Nissan 350Z
Mazda RX-8
Mini Cooper S
Mazda 6 Sport
Toyota Matrix Sport

All depends on what I can afford when the time comes...

Things that catch my eye on each page >>

Page 1:
Love the M5...anxiously awaiting a four-door version of the M3. IF GM can work out quality kinks, the Cien could be hot.

Page 2:
Ferraris and Lamborghinis are beautiful...all of them. Italian cars are like Italian women, they are spicy and full of soul. The Ford TACOM truck is pretty much useless to the army. Remove all the TVs, add some level three armor and maybe it'll be good for use in transporting dignitaries. The Ford '49...how cool is that? Hope it makes it's way into production. The G35 is nice, but I'm not too sure about that goofy rear-end. And Costcowholesale is right...why does it have a foot operated parking brake? I thought it was meant to be a sports sedan.

Page 3:
The Lexus SC looks like a turd...and so does the Altima. The Z and GT-R concept however...nice.

Page 4:
I love WRXs. Porsches are nice too.

Can't wait until the GT-R is for sale in the US. I hope they change the front though.

Just imagine.....AWD, Twin Turbo, 3.5L, 400 HP(maybe more),.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmm (drool)

Starting to save for the down payment now.
