Cadillac Deville vs 98 5spd

Well, I am on the interstate and some punk in a cadillac with a new tag on it (a couple of years old though at least) comes racing up behind me like a bat out of hell. I was going about 70 at the time when I noticed him, so as he comes flying past me I down shift into third and jump over a lane and take pursuit. I catch up fairly easily because he hit traffic. But this guy was a real *****, he was riding everyone's @ss trying to just bulldozer them out of the way. I mean I like to drive fast, but when I come up on traffic and have to wait to merge through, I don't just sit on someone's bumper?? Anyway, he gets a break to the middle lane between two 18 wheelers (on a 3 lane about to go to 4 lane), but instead of following him I decide to take the far right side lane along side the two 18 wheelers. He jumped in the middle lane between them, then back over to the right lane, and by the time he had past the 2nd 18 wheeler, I was right beside him. (doing about 90-95) The punk looked over like he was in a viper of something and floors it, so I say what the hell. I wind out 4th gear to about 120, and by the time I shift into 5th I am about 3-4 cars ahead. Then we come up on traffic again, and he goes about his bulldozer routine. So, I take my exit and say a little prayer hoping this guy doesn't rear end anyone on his way to the fire??

If someone is clogging the fast lane and needs to get over, I first get close to their *** and drift to the left so that my bright Narvas shine into their eyes from their side mirror. If that doesn't work, then I flash my highbeams twice. If that doesn't work, then I turn the highbeams on and leave them on. It rarely comes to that, though.

hmm i don't like high beaming people when i'm in the fast lane and someone ahead is going pretty slow. But from what i read here, it seems like it's pretty much accepted as being ok, and you won't be an a$$ for doing so. I usually end up changing into middle lane, passing, and changing back into fast lane.... but if i must use the high beam technique... then what the hell

remember its "KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS" so give that **** the beams if he's clogging the left lane. Just cause someone is going the speed limit doesn't mean they OWN the fast lane.

I agree, even though I usually go faster than the majority of traffic I am always in the right lane till I need to pass.

Thats right!

I noticed when I headed to NYC last weekend, people pretty much just move out of my way now that I have HID's. It's great!

Was he the victim or the crime?

Again, that's how accidents happen. Someone drives crazy, but another has to one-up him. Just be careful y'all.

At a mall I go to around here someone decided to as the news put it "wave" at another person. That person in turn shot the first dude, led police on a wild goose chase until the police shot him dead. Just think, none of this would have happened if that first person just didn't "wave" at the guy in the car.
