bought a new car today...

but its a hon.., a hon.., a honda
well, actually, its not that bad, its a 2002 civic EX coupe auto(yea yea, i know, but i dont know how to drive a stick). my dad now drives the maxima, but in the summer he is looking at getting a new van, and if he does, its max for me, and civic for my mom. this car isn't that bad, sticker price was $17,750, we got them to $16,000($260 under invoice i think), and then we had a trade in, 1992 mazda 929, 115k miles, dent on passenger side, a/c dont work, 3 windows dont work, etc, got $2500 for it. i thought it was a good price. only bad thing is that i feel like flooring it every chance i get, damn car doesn't move unless under full throttle.

seriously, its a good car, i mean, you can't compare it to the max, but it is a good car.
yea, stock for now. probably rims and stereo upgrade(stock stereo lacks, a lot), but since it might go to my mom in the summer, i dont want to do much to it, i want my max back
i might also get strut bars, maybe, i dont to mess around with it much, cause my mom might not like it after.

i looked into it, a sentra se-r auto(165hp), it looked better than the civic from the outside, but i didn't like the interior, and it was way to noisy on the highway, and plus, if i bought a spec-v, with a stick, i wouldn't be able to pawn it off to my mom and reclaim my max

The good thing about owning a Honda Civic (or Accord) is that you will not be alone. Look in each direction and you will find other human driving similar cars My brother's family has 2 Accords, my parents have a Civic, sister has Integra. People that I went to high school with drive Acuras and Hondas. I, the smartest of them all drive a Maxima!

cadillac seville? lets move on shall we.
i was looking at a used 4th gen, but my dad said, "we got a maxima already, no need for another, and plus, i dont want another used car!" that was the end of my 4th gen searching. he told me to look for something small, gives good gas mileage, and is reliable. i looked into the civic, sentra, and corolla. i already explained the sentra, and the corolla didn't appeal to me, it was decent, but i thought it lacked features. well 2 strikes already, so the third pitch, the civic, hit a homer. i still have to get used to the exterior, looks wierd to me, but the interior is nice, ride is nice.
i miss the VQ engine sound, VRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!
what sound does the 4cyl civic make, BURRRRRRRRRR *shift* BURRRRRRRR, its a wierd, non enthusiastic sound. well i'm still gonna hang around this board, but i will make my appearances at the honda boards.

well i had a choice, just a very limited one, and the civic was the best choice, believe it or not. gotta take it back next week for the spoiler, tint, and visor, after all that is installed, it should look a lot better.

Well hope you get your Max back soon but on the other hand don't worry about it too much because look on the bright side, you have a brand new car to drive.
