My first real race!!!

Hi guys and girls, I just had my first real street race. It was against an integra. I think a GSR because I could have swore I saw a Dohc Vtec badge on the rear right. I think it was a 5spd cuz he either shirped second, or his engine made a weird noice while shifting. At the first light, he took off first and I just kind of followed until I punched it in first and caught up. From then I stayed on his door to the next light. At the next light we were both ready. I got ther jump after a bit of wheel spin and I kept a half car lead until we hit 80 when I had to shut down due to girlfriend beating on my arm. I am happy with my win cuz I am new to 5spd driving and I never wound any gear past 5k rpms. I think if I pushed my engine harder I would've had him even more. If I din't shift to fourth that would have helped also.

Remember to be careful when u streetrace and as a sidenote its better to do it alone. Ok enough of the responsibility talk, yes it would have been better for you to stay all the way in third its the maxima's walkin gear

You have to have someone with you for your first victory. Good kill and always remember to be careful.

a GSR has nothing on a 5speed maxima unless it has major modifications. a closer race would be against a type R.
