Gap question for BKR6e-11
Gap question for BKR6e-11
I already did a search, but couldn't find these information.
After doing a search and reading all the information, I plan on purchasing the NGK Copper plugs (one step colder BKR6e-11), since I will be installing a 55hp nitrous kit. (this is necessary, yes?)
My first question is, how much slower is the car in N/A with one step colder plugs?
On the "search" I read a post saying that the copper plugs don't come pre-gapped. How do you gap spark plugs, and what should the one step colder plugs be at (gap)? I ask because there was a wide range of numbers.
Thanks

no..they don't come pre-gapped...I believe stock gap is like .043 or something...you should reduce the gap by .005 for every 50hp you add...you gap then with a spark-plug gap tool that you can get at any local auto parts store...
