Can't hear my beautiful CAI anymore!
Ever since I put in my catback duals & Y-pipe I can't hear the amazing sound of the CAI under any kind of acceleration. When I start the car the exhaust is extremely nice and deep, and I can still hear the CAI hissing from the front, but fahgetaboutit when I start moving. I love the exhaust but DAMN I miss that unique CAI sound.
Does anyone else have this problem ? I mean I did go all out on the exhaust but damn.

Yes, I did too. Put on a Greddy Cat-back and that was the end of the CAI noise. Ended up taking the Greddy off after 24 hrs.

my exhaust resonates in the cabin nicely , but when i floor it the exhaust seems to die out and the intake seems to come in, the one thing ive noticed though is my intake seems to have a plasticky rattle when its gettin close to the redline like its vibrating the wheel well or sompin, anyone else?

I bet Thomas aka SXR7 probably has the loudest exhaust. He doesn't even have any mufflers. When I was replacing my muffler, I had to run to the store to get some bolts without any muffler on. Man...it was like driving a NASCAR.

My exhaust system is deep at idle, and also very deep when between 1-2k rpms, especially in 2nd gear. But when I give it some gas it gets high pitched. Almost like a....RICEBOY
I guess all maximas have this problem huh ? I guess our engine is just too small Becuase my setup is probubly anti-rice. 2.5" B-Pipe, Flomasters V-Force muffler, 2"5 dual piping, 2.5" Y-pipe, no pre-muffler.
I don't know what went wrong. Anyone ?
