carbon fiber brackets?

I am probably high functioning autistic...

I have the idea to make carbon fiber brackets for my 1996 maxima. My intercooler is currently held up by some janky metal bolted to the frame. There are a few other places places where a one off bracket would be a nice touch. I looked up carbon fiber kits on amazon, diy stuff, and it looks like its doable (famous last words i know.)

Anyone have any experience, advice, words of warning/advice????

In order to make anything structural like brackets, you'll need a vacuum pump, oven etc.

It's a little more complicated than skinning parts.

So would it be easier to buy sheets of pre cooked cf and cut the brackets out of them?

Yes sir. That would be the way to do it.

LMK if you do end up doing that. I'd like a battery tie down
