front seat wiring help

Guys, I got a problem I need some help with. I have a set of 2005 seat to put in my 1964 chevy II nova. The pass. seat was easy to hook up. Red 12 volt, black ground. Have no idea how to wire up drivers seat. All I need it to do is go forward and back. And the back of the seat to tilt. Sure could use some help. Thanks Joe

First pic. pass. side, no problem
2nd. pic. drivers side, big problem

If all else fails, and all you need is Red and Black, run a new wire over from the passenger seat power to the drivers seat. You could tap it anywhere, either at the end or under the carpet closer to the drivers side...

Oh wait, I guess those are the wires from the actual seat not from the car...sorry, not really awake yet.

Download the FSM for free from my signature for the year Maxima the seat came out of (2005). Review the electrical diagrams and you'll know what is what right away. Good luck.

can I bypass the wiring harness, and just wire straight to the switch?

Yes. The cut off wires are going there or coming from there, depending on your point of view.

However, I would think that those cut off wires go into a connector that unplugs from the switch and it would be much easier to splice onto a wire than solder directly onto the switch contacts. Plus the heat from soldering could mess up the insides of the switch.
